PANCHASE TREK

Panchase Peak (Panchase Danda) is one of the major destination of  3 to 4 days trek along the Panchase Trek route. It is therefore the name of the  route is  well known as “Panchase Trek”. And more importantly Panchase trek is short trek route near Pokhara. This is one of the easy trek route as well.

Panchase Danda(Mountain) is located west from Pokhara. The altitude of the Panchase peak/view point is 2500m from the sea level. Druring the peak winter time around Januray, there will be snow fall on the top of the mountain.

Trekking options

There are 4 optional routes to start Panchase trek :

>Start  trek from Kande, about one and half hour drive (black topped road) from Pokhara.

>or from Ghatichhina, about one hour drive (earth road) from Pokhara,Lake side.

>You can start trek from Sidane, 3hrs drive from Pokhara via Ghatichhina (only one local bus depart everyday at     3:30pm from Lakeside, Pokhara).

>Another last option – start trek from Bhumdi about one hour drive (black topped and earth road) from Pokhara.

Panchase peak is one of the best view point (specially during Autumn and Spring season) for snow mountains namely Annapurna Himalaya Range to the north of it, Pokhara valley, Phewa Lake and all other series of various beautiful high and low mountains in its’ surround.
