ROYAL TREK

Another tourist attraction  and easy hiking destination near Pokhara is Sundari Danda, situated on the hillock between Begnas Lake and Rupa Lake, part of Royal Trek route (the name of the hiking route had been introduced as Royal Trek after the prince Charles trekked along this route with his 90 guests and crew during his Nepal visit in 1981). Forest around Sundari Danda conserves the different birds which have come to Nepal during the time of bird migration, next morning after overnight stay at Sundari Danda , you can enjoy the Birds watching before heading back to Pokhara.  Royal trek route offers you a magnificent landscape view which would not let you  turn your head either. To the north and northeast are the great Himalayan peaks, below which lie terraced paddy field as Begnas and Rupa Lake a great natural attraction. it is ideal  for exploration of diverse culture of peoples living in mid hill  zone of mid west Nepal having culture like a blend between north and south,  like eternity is not far away it is beside us , without going to far remote areas  and difficulties , this trek provide you a complete trekking experience in short period of trek time.

ROYAL TREK-5 Days

Day 1:

Pokhara  to  Bijayapur (by road) then trek to Kalikasthan to Shanti Maidan/Thulakot (4hrs)

Day 2:

Thulakot to Lipeyani (trek – 5hrs)

Day 3:

Lipeyani to Chisapani (trek – 5/6hrs)

Day 4:

Chisapani to Rupakot  to Patan Besi to Sundari Danda/Pachabhaiya (5/6hrs)

Day 5:

Birds watching in Sundari Danda ,Visit Monastry,Yoga /Bipasana Centre  and  Boating in Begnas lake until around 1 pm then travel back to Pokhara by road.

4 DAYS & 3 NIGHT-(A)

Day 1:

Thulakot to Lipeyani (trek – 5hrs)

Day 3:

Lipeyani to Chisapani (trek – 5/6hrs)

Day 4:

Chisapani to Rupakot  to Patan Besi to Sundari Danda/Pachabhaiya (5/6hrs) and back to Pokhara by  road

4 DAYS & 3 NIGHT-(C)

Day 1:

Pokhara  to  Kanhukhola to Kaseri(by road), then trek to Sunpandeli to  Shantimaidan/Thulakot – (5hrs)

Day 2:

Thulakot to Lipeyani (trek – 5hrs)

Day 3:

Lipeyani to Chisapani (trek – 5/6hrs)

Day 4:

Chisapani to Rupakot  to Patan Besi to Sundari Danda/Pachabhaiya (5/6hrs) and back to Pokhara by  road
